checking supplies there, im pretty well stocked on essentials etc. Both freezers are near full as is fridge.. ive enough flour, yeast and things for baking etc to last 6 months. enough cleaning stuff etc so im ok up to a point if it gets dodgy again. My area has been in a watchlist, as has the whole region, although im guessing the unis and colleges being back has caused much of the increases. my friend at hospital says its been getting a bit busier there too.

The old mattress, bidet and assorted bits of wood and stuff are all still in the entry opposite me. Been there since March and it's been reported.
You're always going to have people dumping rubbish, it's one of the original reasons we have town councils (or 'corporation' as it used to be), so there is someone whose job it is to clean it up.
Of course when the people running the council are lazy, arrogant and incompetent, the system falls down. Welcome to Britain 2020.

Well tonight's the first time we've switched the central heating on (just enough to take the chill off) since the middle of May! We don't normally light the wood burner until October, and with the weather looking decent for next week, we're on course for that...
Quite looking forward to the forthcoming cosy dark winter evenings, in front of the fire watching a good movie!:)

I used to be good at some of these games. If you were in the 'Golden Goose' in Llandudno around 1980 that high score on the Galaxians was mine.
Likewise in the arcade at the caravan park in Barmouth I was top scorer on Space Invaders. Until I got in a fight with some Geordie youth and got banned.
The passage of 40 years seems to have slowed my reaction times a bit though.

I visited my local Tesco for the first time in over two years, and it was busy with no sign of any shortage or panic buying. Only went to buy a couple of printer cartridges, but ended up buying £136's worth of shopping! :doh:
