The Caiman has four input select button, and the BM has only one. So an exactly same functionality is not possible. However, I shall think about how to make it possible to switch the auto function ON/OFF in an alternative manner.
Of course, sorry Stan I am being dense. Not having a great time of it just now so my heads all over the place... :eyebrows:
Ooh Alex, you operate that there Google Translate so well... :)
Hi fellow countryman Sergio !.
The Beresford is just outstanding in every respect you mention. You need to spend a lot more to get similar results, and YET, the clarity I get from the Caiman is second to none.
Saludos!
Antonio
Dear Stan:
I have read the forum before writing to you.
Some friends of the forum I have spoken well of the Caiman, but I want to know if the 7530 Beresford Dac has better sound response Shiit Bifrost DAC or the DAC PS Nuwave.
* I do not need USB, only optical or RCA inputs and sound quality at the outputs.
A QUESTION.
Beresford Caiman DAC does is less than 7530 Beresford DAC? : Scratch:
Sorry for my questions. kindly
Sergio
Hi Sergio, can you describe for me what a better sound means to you? I can then have a clearer idea. But frequency and technology wise, the Bushmaster has a better frequency response (1Hz to 20KHz at 0dB deviation). This is mainly due to the direct coupled audio output (i.e no opamps and capacitors in the signal path), which retains signal purity and tonal balance of the audio signal. So there is no phase shift or filters in the audio path either.
I know: the Caiman should have been on sale for two or even three times more. Many people have told me that. The Bushmaster is however also going up in price soon. The £ is falling in value against the U$ and Euro, so I shall have to put the price up in order to avoid making a loss.Quote:
