I think my Suunto Observer has Altimeter, Barometer, Compass and Thermometer, not got that one resurrected yet.
Got this one back from Timpsons and 3 others that have “lifetime” batteries - compass, temperature and tide times - well, you never know…

I have a Casio the next door neighbours bought me for my 18th birthday.
I don't know how many straps I went through in that time, a lot. When the strap went for about the 10th time I went out on my 30th birthday and bought a gold Pulsar with a metal bracelet, not worn the Casio since.
Will have to dig it out although not sure where I can get a new strap put on it now. All those 'fancy goods' shops that used to do that seem to have gone.
Sign of the times (forgive the pun). We used to have a 'cabin' in Preston's indoor market, the bloke in there could do pretty much anything to do with straps, batteries. But then the indoor market was demolished and a new one built in its place, made to look old. But all that market seems to sell now is food that no one's ever heard of.Quote:

Saw this one and fell in love with the dial - Seiko NH35A movement, sapphire glass and all stainless steel - really solid watch, and the dial is gorgeous in my opinion.

Only brown shoes I ever owned were some desert boots. Didn't get on with them, soles too thin. Might be okay on sand but not on concrete. Sort of the diametric opposite to Nike Air Max.

Another point of etiquette, whether there's a rule for it or not I don't know, but I always make sure cuff links match the watch - so gold watch, gold cuff links, silver watch silver cuff links. (Certainly makes your (lovely) Rolex look even more out of place in your second photo.)
