Absolutely brilliant - it finally makes me understand why my old woodwork teacher was so anti sandpaper :)
I've been trying to find a video of a Japanese double dovetail joint - that is, a right angle joint where both pieces of wood to be joined have 'dove tail' shaped crenellations.
My late father was a very good woodworker. I had a paper article showing such an apparent impossible joint, and he was going to make me record storage case using such joints - but sadly never got around to it.

No, I'm aware of that video. What I had in mind was a right angle joint where the dove tail shaped tongues are identical, symmetrical and extend across the depth of the two pieces of wood, which are of equal thickness.
