more than one way to do it but this is probably the most accurate...
Rocks often contain traces of uranium which is a radioisotope. It is unstable and eventually decays to form lead, which is stable.
Isotopes have a property known as their half-life. The half life of an isotope is the time it takes for half of the atoms to decay, for example the half-life of Uranium is 4.46 billion years!! This means if you had 10g of uranium it would take 4.46 billion years for 5g of it to decay to lead!

You may be able to "top up" your contributions to get you to a full pension. Might cost less than you think and will enable you to retire when you're supposed to. Worth checking out.

I retired early about six years ago when my mum needed looking after/extra care, but I have been doing a bit of supply and invigilation (still do as it gets me out of the house - wife insists :)).
