Metallica "Reload" (CD)
Reload (and Load) are the two Metallica albums that I can listen to from start to end. Much as I like most of their other albums I find them a bit, well, tiring to chew off in one sitting. I saw the band live at the NEC after the Black album and had much the same experience - after a great first 45 minutes I just had to go off for a walk around the venue and a chat with the merchandising guys before returning to my seat for the finale. However these two albums add some roll to go with the usual earnest rock and although they were unpopular with some I feel are easier to listen to as complete albums.

Managed to find time this afternoon to hear the great Progmeister's November Progcast - and it was fantastic - thank you Steve.
For those who have not heard these 2 hour monthly Progcasts please give them a listen (on ARFM) - the music is not purely 'Prog' but includes a varied mix of wonderful music - old and new.
Particularly enjoyed The Divine Comedy - 'Eric the Gardener' from the brilliant 1998 release 'Fin De Siecle'. Also on the Progcast was some great Caravan, Brand X, Jethro Tull, Yello etc.
Looking forward to hearing the December Progcast which I couldn't hear when broadcast live on Christmas Day.
