Tell Me Something............Anything!

Apparently military casualties in Ukraine war now around 100,000 on both sides, when and how will this war end? Can only see it escalating, with Ukraine's closest ally Poland enlarging its military. Unless the US pulls something out of a hat and starts talks?

Our local pipe band (Boghall and Bathgate) won the world championship at Glasgow Green ..

Someone said to me the other day, what happened to Kissinger and the shuttle diplomacy?

Okay so Kissinger not around anymore but they could find someone else. I think the reality is that a) no oil involved and b) it's keeping the Russians occupied and preventing them from getting up to mischief elsewhere (i,e somewhere with oil).

It's the gift that keeps on giving.

I can see it being another Iran/Iraq and dragging on just as long. No-one gave a toss about that one either since Saddam keeping the Iranians occupied was very handy.

Much higher casualties too, the Iranians cleared paths through the Iraqi minefields by having crowds of people walk across them.

This morning I walked past the cat that lives down the road without giving him his usual fuss and he gave me a right mouthful.

Had to go over and pay my respects.

Bit different this time, as the US is not the only actor - most of the European states are involved, especially the Eastern ones of course, Poland is ready to pounce, this could get even messier very soon.
