I speak from experience when I say LSD is not the answer but it does generate a lot of new questions.
But it is. And here are the answers to the questions! :D

I knew somebody would trip on that point :).
It seems to me that in the last 10 years the amount of aggression on the roads has increased immensely and the overall standard of driving is poor. I wonder if those who weren't around when your first car went about as fast as a lame mule have too much power under their foot and assistance gadgets that can do most things apart from stop them driving like a dick:D
I would agree, both with the increase in aggression and the lack of courtesy.
I reckon there are three causes of bad driving these days among the younger drivers:
1. Police reliance on speed cameras does not pick up on the wider issue of aggressive driving - I often see drivers going like a bat out of hell between the speed cameras because they know where they are sited. And most times their phones or sat navs will warn them of nearby mobile speed traps.
2. "Risk compensation" is a thing - people may take more risks in safer cars. Replace the steering wheel airbag with a giant steel spike and see how they drive then.
3. Young drivers are dicks, Especially when their mates are in the car with them.
