used to be like that but no more. everything is not done by me :ner:
That's why I have tools for every kind of job. I'm too tight to pay to get things done (I'd do my own dentistry if I could :D). Tools are cheaper than hourly rates and I know how to use them!
I have a regular customer who likes to get 'stuck in'. She and her husband moved into a huge barn conversion house last year, and she employs a handyman whose sole purpose is to re-do all her efforts. Drives her hubby mad with her bodges, he even came back out of retirement (owns an engineering firm) just to get away from it all.
Why is it when you're decorating, you find digs and scrapes in the paintwork in places nobody would normally reach?
Cleaned out the wheelie bin, took some glass to the recycling, went the supermarket and did the laundry.
Think that's enough for today, don't want to overdo it. Time for a cup of tea and a nice sit down.
Not done wheelie bin, but I just finished shampooing the front door. It was filthy! Took a while, had to wash down with brush and sponge then go over marks with cream cleaner. Looks ace now! :)
Might cut grass (again ) later if it stays dry.
I use mop and bucket do the inside and out then leave a little bit of the 'juice' in the bottom to do its stuff over time.
I like to make a concoction of cleaning fluids in the bucket even though a lot of them say not to do that on the sticker. I'm sure I've made proper mustard gas at least once.
I think if it can kill me it deffo kills anything else.
Was going to do the front door but can't be arsed now.
On another topic they haven't been around here with the weedkiller for the pavements in ages so we're getting some great wildflowers coming up. Might be getting out of hand though. Just down from me there's a tomato plant growing out of the gap between the slabs, and it has tomatoes forming on it.
