Exactly - and we are in full agreement, which is why I only ever eat homemade steak (or game) pies, or those from our local butcher, so I know what's gone into them. I simply don't do offal, or eat fatty crap. I'm also similarly fussy with sausages, which often the same applies to (such as you've described above).Quote:

Traveled 300 mile round trip to be with family for my mums 80th couple of years ago, went to a lovely restaurant, and neither of my parents could string two words together to speak to me.. don't know why I bothered :doh:
Really upset me and I composed a letter to send to mum about how I felt, which also included some things that'd happened in the past, but never sent it :(
If that's how they continue to behave then I would have to say eventually it will be their loss. You should make sure it isn't yours bev. You tried they were not interested. Ball is in their court.

However a lot of people pay a fixed monthly direct debit, with the amount always being put up by the energy providers, rather than adjusted to match the actual annual consumption :mental:
i pay monthly. in summer i'm in front but in winter it gets used. its easier to bughet
