A 2-armed turntable? - well I guess, kinda. Cecil Watts would be pleased.Quote:

Unusual looking tonearm on this DD Trio. Not seen one before.
Looks like the arm Trio used quite a bit in the early seventies.Quote:

Seem to be popular with 19 bids and at £255
Not seen one of these before. Could be of interest on here:

Sure these originally came in a rubberlike plinth; probably that and the arm that make it look different. I'd say its overpriced.Quote:

If you remove that circular armboard you are left with a SME pattern cut out..
A 3009 would look nice on it right enough. Always wanted a mitchell but never managed.... one day though.:)Quote:

Lovely. Not seen in the UK very often. Empire made some amazing gear in the sixties and seventies. Their speakers were interesting.Quote:

That Tandberg is lovely.
Similar to the one in our music department system at school except the backlighting on that example was a rather spiffing electric blue :)Quote:

Marantz's best integrated of the period & the sellers given it the wrong model number.
These Technics speakers look interesting if a little optimistically priced:

For £60 got to be worth checking out if in the N Yorks area. Big old skool Pioneers:

That's 'mysticvinyl'. He's been flogging bits of Hi-Fi for years (maybe he's a member here?. I'd have those classic Pioneers if they were nearer, a bargain at that price.Quote:

Yep if the Pioneers were just down the road I would have had them already. The Technics are interesting, horn cell mid-range and all that, but I wouldn't take a punt at much more than a ton fifty and only then because they look pretty much perfect condition.Quote:
