Yes Ali it works a treat chap, much more solid bass than the standard NS1000M & down to about 30Hz, the 4th order bandpass gives an extra 4.5Db output over the standard sealed box (at 30Hz that's equivalent to doubling the physical loudness due to the way our ears work). The sub is also used set to it's lowest xover frequency of 35Hz :rolleyes: As soon as the warranty runs out i'll alter that, in fact thinking about it it already has :scratch: Time i took a look inside i think :eyebrows:

The sub is set a tad low so it integrates better due to the xover being a bit high, but it takes the in room response down to about 17Hz :)

Bloody hell Mark, I hope you warned Powergen before the big switch-on so they could increase their generating headroom... :lolsign:

Funny you should mention the electricity consumption, things are quite warm in here & i'm actually wearing no jumper, just a T shirt :eyebrows: It's that P600 Power Plant Dave, i swear the thing is biased high as it's pretty bloomin warm & only supplying 80W to the front end. I reckon it's dissipating about 300W at a guess :eek: Think i'll take a look inside & see what the quiescent current is :rolleyes:

The Parasound is just warm, the Mackie a little warmer until the fans kick in on low speed & chill it out for 30 or 40 seconds, it's this P600 that is attempting to imitate a Krell power amp that's cooking the place :D

I can't remember the chaps name either and I haven't heard from him since before xmas. I could really do with a couple of slabs under my Roger's, and I've also just bought an Airedale 120w Active sub which will definitely need somet under it as it is using the floor as a pretty good sounding board just now... :eyebrows: ;)

I don't know many people with 110" screens, in fact i don't know anyone :lol: The screen on my wall is 120" & was set up to run with a Sanyo PLV-Z2 720P projector which filled it nicely. Since then i sold it to a freind who has put thousands of hours on the thing, it's due a new bulb but he keeps suggesting i upgrade yet again so he can snaffle my 1080P projector :D

Not happening for a good while i'm afraid as this is good enough & i'm not made of money ;) So anyway, this is what having a 110" picture looks like on your wall. Please bear in mind that the picture was paused (which doesn't help) & that you are looking at only 1100 pixels in width (for the full picture) when the projected image is 1920 pixels wide...

However, having this in front of you is some kind of experience! What might be small on a 42" TV is nearly 3 times the size so it makes it much easier to see details you'd normally miss. It also makes the picture so big that you actually have to look around to see it all :D

I need to get the projector calibrated as it works ok with the BD player, i know the TV is bang on but i haven't sorted the PJ yet. No rush, like everything else it all takes time & i have to live :eyebrows:
