Hi guys, not sure where to put this, as it's ebay related here it goes, is anyone near the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices in Thetford, Norfolk? Won a receiver and want to pay for it, but failing to get a reply. :scratch: Funds going 100% straight to charity.
If its the ( British Heart foundation , I think , was i while ago ) , I won a item and did not get it was listed again some time later , sent several emails then gave up
Not really sure tbh, it's this one;

£2,500.00 when new ( mid 90's i think). The guy in the ad says not sure about the valves, yet in his other items he has the valves for it... Few other things in his other items for sale not as described. Still could be a bargain for someone.
Yes nice pics, half tempted, but pick up from up North and cash only. I remember reading something about these amps having a few problems, maybe someone has more info.

Did you spot the Sonab receiver he has?

I posted the Gamma amp add the other day. After contacting the seller to say the valves for the amp were in his other items for sale ( he has now added them to the Gamma amp add). I mentioned about reliability issues with some of the amps on my post, but don't have any info on that, do you Mike?

Any ideas on what these Proac 3 should go for?
I am interested, as I have a pair I want to shift.

Whopping great Sony speakers at £240. Bargain, these are gorgeous.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vintage-sp...UAAOSwa-dWrfcK
The dimensions are mistakely quoted in cm. Those are the inch dimensions! They're biggies with super quality drive units.
No WAF in those days!

Look great don't they. Bet they sound pretty spectacular too. Sony made some very nice sounding speakers in the past and the quality of those drive units will be top notch.
Someone has had them away pretty sharpish which is surprising; most people these days don't know what a speaker design like that can bring to the table, more's the pity.
No - they look awful! Much as I am a fan of well designed big old 1970s loudspeakers, why manufacturers felt the need to come up with rubbish like this I have no idea. The "shove as many drive units on the baffle as you can" approach rarely pays dividends, in my experience.
There is a pair of Yamahas for sale currently along similar lines http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-NS-...gAAOSw6wRW~9QG
I bet some people would buy them because they think they might sound like NS1000s - I've heard them and I can assure you they don't!
Mirror glass platform - might be kool for someone?
