Your both right I actually still think in feet and inches as it does let me visualise things better.

I prefer reading the American reviews of speakers because they give the driver sizes in inches unlike here where that insist on only giving driver size in metric even though in real life no-one here of any age uses metric for cone size.

Pretty poor when the Yanks can get it right but we can't.
Should be metric for science and imperial for everyday use. Just makes more sense. All ages use imperial for that.
Ask a teenager how tall they are I bet they don't give the answer in metric. Or for weight. They won't give you speeds or distances in Km either.
Now we're out the EU there's no excuse for sticking with it.
We weren't obliged to use metric measures when we were in the EU.
