Great alto sound and really bluesy vibe to his playing.
I think he is in his 90s now, and health is not too good, but what a career and legacy.

Think these recordings are originally recorded in the 30's but still of decent quality. Broonzy,s sense of humour is evident throughout as is his charm, of which he was reknowned.

Great album this.. recorded i think in late 60's .. i have a number of these blue horizon sets. All top quality. Some getting harder to find too.
