Did the anti-histamines come in the form of small cardboard squares with a cartoon character printed on them? I got some of them once, fixed my hay fever a treat, in fact I seemed to lose my nose for a while :)

IOW is on my doorstep and I love the place, there are some lovely sandy beaches with nobody on them
Had a couple of really nice bike rides there last year and we are planning a weekend ride right round it this year some time :)

Ryde and Ryde beach is also very nice and is huge and there is never many people on it, at least there wasn't when we went over in June last year on a very hot day
