Actress Barbara Carrera claims there were three or four different endings imagined, including one in which her character gave birth to a kitten. That version was favored by producer John Temple-Smith, which actor Michael York flatly refused to do. Director Don Taylor said that he did not take it seriously and the footage was never shot.

Film was very popular everywhere but USA.. no yanks winning the war so not worth watching;)
Beach sequences were shot at Camber Sands near Rye, East Sussex, and Dunkirk town centre was recreated using part of Rye Harbour.

Dad's Army, 2016. A great cast giving this old sitcom a new spin. Not to everyone's pleasure but i for one, love it(not taking anything away from the old one)

Filming began in Yorkshire in October 2014. Principal photography took place at North Landing, Flamborough Head and Bridlington. The East Riding Theatre in Beverley was used for Church Hall/Parade room and Captain Mainwaring's office. Sections of the film were also captured in Leeds and Pickering. Jones' van from the original television series, on loan from the Dad's Army Museum, was used in the film.

I've been watching Blakes 7 on Forces TV. Highlight of the day.
Shame they don't make proper telly like that any more. BBC cancelled it even though it got consistently high ratings. They never gave a reason.
