Macca's Lash Up 2: Lash Harder

Alan's already done me a number of such favours over the years. You can't impose on people like that. At least I don't like to. I'll get it fixed at some point, there's no rush.

Undoubtedly, but it's up to Alan if he wishes to tackle the traffic accordingly. Rather than attempt to second-guess it, just ask the man. He's retired now, so has plenty of time on his hands!:D;)

My uncle came down from Scotland to visit, the other day, and travelled on the M6, en-route to my house, with no traffic issues.

The M6 is a lottery. If one or both sides of it is closed then it adds 30 to 60 minutes to my journey home from work. Even though I don't go anywhere near the M6. And that happens a lot.

Sure, but as I said, it's no biggie if you're not working and have plenty of time on your hands. He might just fancy getting out for a bit. No harm in asking him, eh? He can only say no. Nothing ventured, nothing gained:)

Travelled from Glasgow to Woking at the weekend there to pick up a black box.

M6 was troublesome, doing roadworks atm with 50 mph limit, just hit cruise control you'll be fine.
Was an accident there too, 8 mile tailback nose to tail...fun.

Martin If I can do that in the pursuit of Hifi you can do an hour each way!

If you're worried about hassle for Alan, then pay him for his time and fuel. The bottom line is, you'll never get back to the sound you had until you get back to using the same amp!

lol. You're a lot crazier than me...plus you've got a car. It's a bit longer than an hour each way on foot, especially carrying a 30 kilo amplifier. ;)

get it in a rucksack and jog... might shake some life into it :lol:

Have thought about making a trip up to Macca's, now I know it's OK I'll call in and take a look.
Could bring the Neurochrome and PGA volume control with me as well.
