"But really, which part of London are you from?" (To be repeated 7 times.) :hmm:
I'm having a "doppler" scan today on my lower leg which recently suffered an injury and is just not healing. I think the idea is to check my veins/arteries are ok to have a compression bandage on (which will supposedly speed healing).
Thing is, a nurse ordered the appointment 5 weeks ago, and since then I've had a plastic surgeon tell me to cancel the appointment as it's pointless, and another nurse tell me it's important and shouldn't be cancelled. Oh well, better to have and not need, than to need and not have...
I've got the day off, got to use up my holidays before end of the year.
try and get time in a hyperbaric chamber.. supposed to speed healing.
Interesting... many years ago, due to a cock up in calculations when scuba diving at altitude, my uncle got decompression sickness, and spent 2 weeks spending time in what I think was called a hyperbaric chamber. Had to go up to Aberdeen for it. He was told by doctors to never dive again as it could end him. So he switched to a less risky pursuit - rock climbing
I think some people just like being on the edge, makes them feel alive. Not me :nono:
Yeah, this one in Aberdeen was back in the 80s, they're probably everywhere these days, as they will be more affordable. Like flat screen tellys.
