I don't recall it as a comedy but it was a little bit off-beat.

2 good war films on soon... first up is Sink the Bismark 11.25 more4. then on film4 at12.40 is Went the Day Well.
for john wayne fans at 16.15 his irish roots film the Quiet man is on film4 too.

Sink the Bismark, great film. I have a very elderly lady customer at the bookshop who was a nurse in the war, her boyfriend of the time was a Dr on the Hood. He died.

Got it on now. Went the day well is a good one too.

My father had a work collegue who was one of the pilots in the Fairey Swordfish whose job it was to keep tracking the Bismark. Apparantly it was on his watch that they lost track of it.
