Here at Coherent Systems we have long been an advocate of mains power products in fact some for close to 18 years, whether it maybe a mains cable, a filter or power conditioner etc.

Mains performance products do stir up many debate, however we (Coherent Systems) are now in position to offer a home mains power quality analysis appraisal service. The results are carried out with a fully calibrated industry single phase reference device and you will receive a full copy of the investigation results following testing.

Using the very latest industry standard power quality standard measuring equipment (up to 1Mhz) we can investigate and diagnose any problems that may be present on your home mains supply.

We have the ability to observe over 20 individual parameters that effect power quality, as well as Harmonic analysis to IEC/EN 61000-3-2 / 4-7 ( to the 50th order), both voltage and current harmonics, as well as the usual V/I, crest factors and Frequency standards.
We can also test individual audio devices for real stand by power and in rush measurements so you can really see which items are the big electrical polluters and how to deal with the amount of rubbish to put back into the mains circuit.

Coherent Systems can also perform long term tests for those intermittent issues like 'why does my system sound better after...'

Part of the test sequences also can identify other areas of electrical pollution not just coming into your dwelling but from inside as well, from say other devices and equipment inside your home or out buildings.

We are developing a whole series of certified procedures to help audio owners obtain a genuine benefits from their systems with demonstrable quality testing that can show where/how/why those differences in sound quality can be quantified with high quality test and measurement equipment.
