My name is Luke and I've been DJing for 12 or so years. I've owned a couple of pairs of technics 1210's. I am keen to learn how to service them and also have a couple of modification plans. Anyone done a purely carbon strait tonearm mod.

Many Technics fans here and vinyl is always popular. I take it you've seen the 'Techiepedia' in the Analogue Arts section. Every conceivable question about 1200/1210 turntables has probably been asked and answered there.

You will see that there are areas where you can chat about anything, not just Hi-Fi (although that's our main focus). The EU thing has had a lot of input today. :)
