Treble control knobs on Tannoys

Hi
I hope this is the right place for this question.can anyone tell me if the treble control knobs are just a push fit.I have tried to remove mine but they won't budge I would hate to break them .:(

I use Monitor Reds, which don't use treble controls. I presume you have Golds?

Good question - I took the whole assembly out for contact cleaning and did not remove the knobs.
I would expect they are.
