Well we start at the tender age of 15 and my first dream hi-fi system a Garrard SP 25, Trio amp and Wharfdale speakers, pocket money all saved birthday money too and the sale of a huge Action Man collection and we were all but there. So off to Comet with Dad in tow to pay the difference ! Then there is the "Dad" factor who spots the Bush music centre with cassette and radio too ! I'll let you guess the rest, suffice to say it was another year before I got the first separates a Technics SL B2 turntable with Grado FCE+ cartridge a Technics SU V2 amp and a pair original Mission speakers and QED 79 strand cable!
