It is not the heating, so I have noise on the mains. It is not DC. It is not the power line network adapters. I don’t think I will ever find out...

It could be the heat pump then. I will found out when summer comes, and the heating goes off.

It buzzed not matter what time of day it is, so it has to be the heat pump, fridge/freezer or power line network adapters.

The family has gone out. I am alone. I have plugged the UPS back in with the power amp fed from the mains. It sounds fine, but there is a buzz.

Another interesting choice is the Nagaoka JT-80 BK. Have a look at the reviews. I am not sure it will add more detail than you have now.

Nagaoka MP300 may fit the bill.

Thanks Barry. Unfortunately, it is brass contacts. Still, if that is the best I can get, it will have to do.

I was after a high quality copper contact version (rubbed on the inner thighs of virgins).

I am going to unplug the power line network adapters at lunch time, and see if that fixes the noise.

The system sounds a bit flat through the UPS. So, one less thing I need to purchase. :)

I think I am going to fit a Schaffner filter to my extension block. It is a Furutech eTP60-e.
