Hi Richard, been away so just saw your message. I have the Polaris speakers which I bought off Adrian. I use a Croft Twinstar Hybrid 4 (modded to "5" by GC - better regulated supply) which works well with them (and definitely no hum even though the speakers are very sensitive) I mostly use a bent Audio pre either a NOS or a TAP-X , although sometimes use a very good paul hynes pre with LDR volume control. I imagine the 25R and 7R is also a very good combination with the Polaris
Hi Neil, Thought I would drop you a line as I see you use Loth-X speakers. Are these the Polaris? I expect you know Adrian at Audioflair. I have a pair of Polaris. Which of your amplifiers do you use with them? I use Croft 25R/7R and I wondered if you had gone down the route of converting the 25 to passive? Cheers Richard
