Hi guys, I hope everyone is well. I've been absent from AOS for quite a while so I hope its OK to post a For Sale thread after all this time away.

After a lot of thought I'm selling my Chord Dac64 MkII. Its pretty much in mint condition and full working order. I'm going to have a bit of a re-shuffle of my hifi system and so need to liquidate a few assets so to speak. The important part about the dac for me is that the d/a conversion if performed by a set of bespoke programmed IC's that you only find in Chord products. This means it really has been designed from the ground up, rather than based upon an existing d/a chip. This is not to say that other dacs are inferior, just that the Chord d/a system is is unique. It also has a FIFO buffer that has a remarkable effect on jitter and other timing errors.

I don't have the original box but I do have the original manual still in its bag. I also have the stock optical cable and will throw in an excellent digital cable made by AOS's Mike Homar.

I'm asking £1100 plus delivery but due to the nature of the item and its high value I think collection would be the best way.

Hi Paul, hope you are well - I was only saying to DSJR in an email the other day that we hadn't seen you around for quite a while.

Good luck with the sale, if my numbers come up tonight I'll be in touch, otherwise, have a bump on me! :)

Thank you guys, nice to know that you remember me. Good to see that the forum is still going well too. I've always thought it was one of the best Hifi forums around and never understood why it had so many detractors.

Hi Paul,
Is the DAC sold?
And I am in Australia.
