...And i hope you are all lovely here and not like those other horrid forums...
Anyway, that's enough about you. I'm here to talk about me.
My name is Jamie and I live in London and I've been a music lover all my life. For the last 20 years I've been enjoying music on my Marantz pm55 amp.
I used to have a nad 5120 tt but I got into mixing and bought a pair of technics 1210's which I still have.
I've only just recently got into proper hi-fi when my old Gale speakers died and I started looking into replacements on the web. I took the plunge and bought some Tannoy 8" DMT IIs (i know, they're NFM). That experience certainly opened my ears to other possibilities. I started looking into amps and went from valves to Quads to Arcam 5.1 systems (which I'm glad i avoided as I don't really like 5:1) to Naim and finally went full circle and purchased the mighty Croft Micro 25 Pre and S7 Power combo.
The day it arrived was a tad disappointing as the poweramp had a blown 3.15 amp fuse so I had to wait till morning to get a spare. A long wait.
It was totally worth it though. It sounds absolutely sublime and it isn't even run in yet.
Between me and the wife, we have about 15 feet of vinyl so I'm looking forward to lots of listening pleasure.
So, very nice to meet you all.
