The vintage Lockwood speakers which I first mentioned in my introduction to the forum are now (finally) at auction on eBay.

Since first joining AoS, when all I knew about them was the name on the front, with a little help from some friends I have succeeded in creating what I hope is a complete description. A big thank you is of course now required to Roger from Lockwood Audio, Andy (BTH K10A) and Marco & Del for all their invaluable help and advice.
Please ask if there’s anything you want to know that’s not covered on the eBay listing, or that may need further clarification.
For those that are interested, the original set up of which the Lockwoods were a part, was comprised of a Garrard 301, Decca FFSS, and a BTH A1A.

The Garrard is still with us, and has also been placed for auction;

The Decca and the A1A were replaced in 1973 by an Acos Lustre GST-1 and an Alba UA700 amp, and no trace of them or where they went can now be found (the fine specimen of an A1A in the above pic belongs to Andy (BTH K10A)).
The Acos and the Alba are still present, even if not fully correct, and may yet grace these pages.
Thanks for looking and taking the time to read.
