Hi Joe, Welcome to the forum. What kind of music do you listen to on that system of yours?

Enjoy yourself!

Hi Joe,
A warm welcome from me too!
Is that amp a PA model? If so, does it need any pro connectors, or is it all RCA's and binding posts like civilian amps?

Cheers

Hi Joe, welcome! Good to see we've had a few new younger members recently, instead of the old codgers that have been hanging around here since the dawn of time - well that's what it feels like sometimes! ;)

So what other kit do you have to go with your new amp, and how did you find this dusty little corner of the internet we call AoS? :) And as Nick asks, give us an idea of the sort of music you're into which will help to get to know you a bit better.

Enjoy!

I belive its a PA model, with 6.2mm inputs and RCA inputs, but outputs are only binding posts.

Here is the Amp Shame only one VU meter lights up :(

Technically it was, but you'd have struggled doing much with it with your zx81, even with a 16k RAM pack!

Sorry Joe, I'm not speaking in Swahili, that's just me being an old git - yes, to be honest, members in their twenties are probably few and far between, but great to see some people are still into more than just an ipod dock and Tiny Plonker or whatever his name is - now you just know I'm an old git!

I came by them From someone who did house clearences and said iv got some hifi bits if your interested £1 each so popped round his house and bought the 3 bits he had and the Maxims where part of it so cost me £1! there was also a hitichi amp and a Trio tuner, still got them somewhere

When i first got them i didnt know there ture valve i thought they would be worth something but not as much as they are, they sat in the loft for a couple of years and got them out again few weeks back to check them over and thinking about selling them. the last set i saw sold on ebay for £400 slighly better than mine,

I have thought long and hard about selling them but think i will regreat it :/

Oh super cool, a young’un :) Might get to hear a bit less bout all that proggy rubbish
Watcha joe.
You’ve got to be right careful around here not to bump any of the zimmer frame walkers and you need to keep your eyes on the floor mate; broke me wrist last time I fell over one of the resident piss artists bottles. They cant make it to the bin mate coz its in the opposite direction to the urinals………….well, you know how it is when your pissed, choices, choices
