Hi my names Ben and im new to the forum, just joined today actually.

My curent systen is used to listen to everything from Wu Tang clan hip hop beats throught to Artic Monkeys rock via Miles Davis / Led Zep / Stones and most things in between.

Currently im using a Roksan Kandy LIII, Monitor Audio RS8's, SRM Athena record deck with 2m Blue cart along with a CA Dacmagic fed via usb from my pc. Im very happy with the system at present and cant really see myself changing much with it for a while yet. Still its nice to be part of a friendly forum!

Yep, that's what I said when I joined, too! Mind, I haven't so much changed as acquired - since joining the forum I've bought 3 amps, 2 turntables, 3 cartridges, new speaker cables, various interconnects, a DAC, another CD player and about 4 pairs of headphones! Probably forgotten something - but if I hadn't spent out on all of that I could probably afford the new speakers I am now hankering for! :doh: Seriously though, "tinkering" and trying different stuff is all part of the fun, and I am sure even if you don't change or acquire anything you will still find plenty of interesting topics.

Your music taste will fit in well too, I'm sure - a lot of discussions about music on here, so don't be shy! I've got something from all of the artists you mention, and lots of others have similar eclectic music collections.

Enjoy the forum and get stuck in - unlike some internet forums you won't find any cliques or offhandedness, just a bunch of friendly people sharing a passion for reproducing music in many different forms and methods - and generally having a good giggle along the way. :)
