Trying to get the funds for a AV set up so my Arcam 192 player has to go.
Best player ive owned and sounds a bit more lively than previous boxes ive had.
Looking for £200 if anyone is interested . If not i will put it up for auction.

Should sound better than a Caiman in theory :) Well a Caiman being fed 16/44.1 at any rate :eyebrows:

Hi Mark,

I was just going to ask if it would be a good combination with my Caiman.

Regards,

Darren

Colin, as Darren is asking i must point out that Jersey is not in the EU  Yeah that's what i thought even though it's owned by the UK.

If sending to Jersey you'll need to fill out a customs form at the post office, i knew none of this when i sent Darren the Caiman he bought off of me recently :eyebrows:

It can be gotten around but you need to consider what to put on the form before going down to the PO unless you happen to get on very well with the post master

I think it'd probably out perfom the Caiman ;) Remember that the Caiman can only accept up to 24/96 so unless the Arcam can be set to output 24/96 rather than 24/192 it won't work..

Hi Colin,

I'll take it. Let me know how you want to proceed.

Hi Colin,

It’s a small form about the size of a pack of cigarettes that you stick to the front of the parcel. You just say what the goods are, and their value. You also need to put your address. I use them all the time sending to the UK. Takes about two minutes to do.

Darren

Hi Colin, i'd suggest you make sure that if you use the original box to pack the player in that you box over that as well. Declare the item as "faulty stereo equipment" & mark it "gift" with "NCV" or "No Commercial Value"...

I didn't have to put my address on the form, i just signed & dated it

I take it its a PERFORMA form i need and not the commercial one ?

Hi Colin,

Mark and I must be talking about different forms. The best thing is to tell the person what you are sending, and they should give you the appropriate form. I send lots of large parcels (Games consoles) to the UK, and use the small form I mentioned earlier.

Darren
