I'm downloading and testing the RapidRead beta for WinMo 6.5 on my HTC HD2 and will report on how it performs. Please add your feedback on TapaTalk for WinMo 6.x and 7 to this thread.

Testing Rapid Read on my HTC HD2 with WinMo 6.5, I've got it working with the URL entry being exactly this: theartofsound.net/forum/

Performance is very dependent on the connection: pretty fast with my wi-fi at home, not so good with anything other than H (HDPSA) on the mobile network (3G is ok, E (Edge) and G (GPRS) are hopeless). I'm experimenting to see if I can get to New Posts. So far, I can only navigate by group and forum.

Nevertheless, this is nice software for a beta and I suspect that I'll be paying for it when released. I'll see if I can grab some screen shots.

Don't want to start a new thread so apologies for going at a slight tangent but I see the BlackBerry version is also Beta now too. Suspect our Corporate policy will prevent me from trying it, though.

Tapatalk for iPhone and Android is very quick. It also has a searchable directory and on the iPhone intercepts navigations within Safari to the forum with a prompt to switch to Tapatalk for viewing.

It sounds like Rapid Reader is a bit rough around the edges but it'll get there, assuming they replicate all the general functionality of the official app.

Alex, my work Blackberry doesn't even have the browser installed! And the USB link is also defeated. Curse corporate controls!

Tapatalk for iPhone and Android is very quick. Tapatalk on Android is fine even over GPRS.

My fault: I was on the verge of no signal. In fact, RapidRead seems to perform quite well so far in varying signals.
