Anyone here come across "The Bridge"

Just came across THIS (http://www.itemaudio.co.uk/halide_bridge.html) whilst browsing around digi stuff to play my computer music /// Has anyone any experience with it ... does it seem pricey considering you still need a DAC to run it thorough before tyhe sound gets to your system ?

Similar things available from M2Tech ie Hiface and Hiface Evo.
They do work if you want the best SQ via usb out of your computer, unless you have an Async usb dac that is then you will not need one.

My hiface arrived earlier today (thanks Keith) and initial impressions are really positive. Definitely a step up from a kimber USB into the Caiman. :) YMMV and my laptop seems to be particularly hostile to usb audio. Just need some hi res material now :eyebrows:
