Thought I'd introduce myself prior to posting too many threads.
After a long hif career with several digtially based systems I'm now almost exclusively into vinyl. Just love the spinning of records - and the purchase of vinyl in real old fashioned record shops. Sounds good too :)

My system is a Thorens td 160 hd with an Audio Note 2 pickup. Amplification is Plinius 9200 into Shaninian Compasses. Cabling is Fletcher 200/ 300/ Wireworld Aurora 5.2. I'm looking for ideas to upgrade my Thorens; please look to my thread and join with ideas, experience and points of view.

Happy to be here, best Lars

Hi Lars
Welcome to The Art of Sound.
Now I see what phono stage you're using with your Thorens!

I love your city by the way.
It's good to have you with us - enjoy yourself here.

After a rather long period off the forum I thought I'd report on the current state of affairs:

My vinyl player is an original, but serviced, Lenco L70 mounted in a heavy plywod plinth. Pick up is the classic Denon dl 103.
Phono stage is an EAR 88pb, which goes to a Leben cs 300xs by a Cardas Cross cable. Speakers are Zu Omen.
Looking for smaller speakers to my 20 m2 listening room.

Happy listening!

best regards Lars

Hi Lars
Does the 'DL103' work ok with the 'L70' as that arm does not employ anti-skate, what are you tracking the cartridge at?
