I can't find anything concrete on the net, but I've heard a lot of distressing rumours saying that Gary Moore has passed away. If it's true, this is very sad news.... People are saying that he has died of a heart attack in Spain aged 59. :(

Just heard this on the late news.

Gary Moore was a very important part of my early musical awakenings. I saw him live many times during the 80's and he always played a great gig. I preferred him live, rather than on record.

He will be sadly missed :(

Managed to get 'Ballads and Blues ' played through in the pub tonight. Even the 20 year old barmaid declared that 'Parisienne Walkways ' was a "choon". Which means it's good, apparently.

My main memory of Gary Moore was at Sheffield City Hall I know not what year but he did 'Parisienne Walkways' and sustained that very note for an absolute age. He was using a Gibson Les Paul Gold Top and a Soldano amp. God bless him.
