The tuther morning the wife woke me up to tell me she couldnt get a bath & the boiler was flashing red..Low pressure me thinks so makes a B line for the pressure refill valve! Not working & won't re-pressurise the boiler!
08:00am phones for the plumber to come out, eight hours later he arrives, i explained to him the boiler refuses to let me build the pressure up. ten mins later he finds the valve is snapped inside.New one fitted & off he goes & so do i to work.
Tonight when i ran the hot water tap for a bath theirs such a loud whooshing sound in the pipes (simular to the sound you get when you have a water stop valve not open fully)..i tried running all the hot water taps at the same time to try clear it but with no joy! when i turn on the cold at the same time it cuts the noise down a lot, cold back off the loud sound persists.If i run the hot just trickling it's not so loud!
Any plumbers with any idea as i can't get it sorted by someone till Tuesday & it's even getting on my wires with the noise!
