I know we have tried this before etc but this time i have something good to share

a mate of mine who has similar taste in music to me (bar the garage band type stuff which if im honest i think is a load of old shite) has made me a playlist
he is the sort of chap to spend hours finding random stuff on spotify and has complied some of his finding for me ... and now you if you care to have a listen ... :)

I happen to have found more music that i tend to like on Youtube rather than Spotify :doh: Not the best quality but then at least i can get an idea of what's going on as you mentioned.

Anything that gives you a listen to stuff before you actually spend money has got to be a good idea :) Also a bad one, as you'll spend more having found stuff you like :D

There is an intention for AoS to have it's own presence on Spotify (my bad - sorry John, I still haven't got round to getting it all together and over to you, so this is a good reminder...) where all of these could be grouped together.

In the meantime, this one is my favourite that I have created - it compiles all the tracks in chronological order that were sampled on Public Enemy's Fear of a Black Planet... (I was bored, what can I say...)

...because of that bloody annoying canoeing dance that people insisted on doing at the time :steam:

Mind you I do remember being in the Kop at Anfield (I was at Liverpool Uni at the time), when Shilton was in goal for Forest (he'd just been caught in the back of his range rover with a girl called Tina)...when he approached the cop for the second half they broke out into a chant of 'Who's up Tina's arse' in a Gap Band style, he looked suitably sheepish :)

'Burn rubber on me' was much better IMHO
