Here for sale is a nice pair of rare NVA A80 Monoblocks.
Completely hard wired, no circuit boards ! Bulk foil resistors, and mulicap RTX by pass caps. I have used these for the last few months with mission loudspeakers, and in particular the 751 standmounts which produced a very detailed and dynamic sound with classical material. The amplifiers are neutral, no discernable character as such. Using the Mission 752 floor standers produces tight bass lines. Imaging is very good, and in particular rendering of vocals. Each unique vocalists character is transparent. These are in good condition, though there is some superficial scratching to the top, and this happened when I was removing them from a rack. The CD player that I currently use is a Rotel RCD 1070, which of course is not a top player, more mid line, though it does not disgrace itself, I feel that the NVAs would appreciate a better calibre of front end as their ability to resolve is excellent.
