This era of Yamaha gear is some of the most ergonomically satisfying hi-fi ever built, someone should give John the required lolly & pronto, if only for the chance to use those beautiful square sided selector & flip switches!
It's got a pre-out, so it would make a great cheap pre-amp for someone, if nothing else. A pair of phono stages. Two tape loops as well, if you're into recording.

Cheers

Beautiful controls, slicker than the *10 series which folowed IMO. Use with efficient speakers for best sound.

How much do you want John?

£30 including postage or if you going to Scalford Hall then £20 and you can pick up from me. I am not sure how much postage will cost but think that is fair
I think due to its tidy layout you could really turn this into something special

Nice one Ali, great little amps, when you've done with it you know where i am :lolsign:

This was easily the best period for Yammi's the 'CT7000' for instance was a beautiful looking & sounding tuner if you ever see one.You might have notice the present Yammi amp aesthetics are not a million miles away from the original designs.
