the two sets of LED's are on all the MK5 technics decks, they have a digital pitch adjustment (rather than analogue like the older generation) depending on what you select, either +/-8% or +/-16% will get you the corresponding LED lights next to the pitch slider.

I always leave it locked on 0 myself . . . . . ;)

please note this is one of only 3000 made and less than 300 came to UK, this is not to be confused with the SL-1200LTD which is also gold but based on the MK3 deck and had a limited run of 10,000

they have been going from between 1500 and 2500 on their own the guy with the battered pair still ain't sold his, he's asking 1900 for one (broken lid) and 2000 (scratched lid) for the other, he usually waits a few weeks before re listing ;)

this will sell for whatever it ends at and someone will be very happy with a complete deck inc original box/packaging etc, obviously id like to get as much as possible but the final price will reflect market value as it is a auction and it will go for what the auction ends at.

ohh and the guy who sold a pair for 2500 at the beginning of jan was sold to me, he was a crook and didn't actually have the decks, didnt even leave me neg feedback for buying but not paying! (bonus)

they have been going for 2 grand for a decent one, 1 not complete one went for 3500 USD a few weeks back, in USA obviously, you have to remember all the DJ's who used 1210's in the clubs mostly have their own little set up at home and all of them will want one, let alone all the audiophiles who only recently got onto the technics 1200/1210's as being the best turntable out there :)

You are forgetting something here :eyebrows: They are getting rarer & are now collectable... Because of this & because buyers know this what they have in their minds is that if they don't get one now then it'll just get more difficult & expensive later :eek:

I expect prices to peak shortly & then drop off for a while & then they'll start rising again! Take it from me, i see it all the time on ebay. These things rise & fall in price almost like they are riding a wave ;)

1500 is honest money for a honest turntable, I'm happy with that and I hope the new owner is also.

I might have 1 more for sale in the coming months if my mate richy doesn't want it, the other 4 are mine and I will take them to the grave with me :)
