Hello,
New to HiFi modding after lurking here for a while. Just bought a Technics SL-1210 so keen to experiment.
Have owned various bits of mostly British classic HiFi (Audiolab 8000, Jim Rogers JR149, Crimson Electrik) now have Cyrus 8 with EPOS speakers and Thorens TD160 Super with Mayware formula IV arm.
Still have lots of vinyl and CDs!

Hi Salim, welcome to AoS - what sort of music do you like - The Clash at least, with a thread title like that? :)

It's an age thing. I was thinking of 'Workers Playtime' from the good ol' BEEB..

All sorts! Yes I do have the original vinyl release of London Calling but listen to a wide variety of recorded music such as Jazz, Classical, Female vocal, rock, post-punk, 80's pop, Motown, World music etc.
If it's live then the choice is wider still!
Probably easier to list what I dont enjoy too much; C&W, Opera & Dance/techno.
Listen to radio and Spotify a lot these days.

Hi Salim,
Welcome to The Art of Sound. Whatever you do, don't buy an early CD copy of 'London Calling' - next to the vinyl it sounds like a bag of spanners.
Hi Salim
Do you still have the Formula IV? I wonder what it would sound like on the Technics :)
