The Art of Sound was born three years ago today!
As I write we're only 7 registrations shy of 3,500, and are a thriving, enthusiastic community with a distinctive, friendly and welcoming attitude and ethos.
I'd just like to say how proud I am to be part of the team here. I'm stood on the shoulders of giants, for sure. I'd also like to say tank you to everyone who posts here and makes The Art of Sound what is. Your loyalty and continued support really is appreciated.
We're always looking for ways to keep AOS fresh, and on top, and that's the way we plan to continue...

Thank you everyone!

I joined in Feb '08 so I've seen a large part of that.
AoS is without doubt the most enjoyable and educational forum I know, and not short of some great people. I am enriched from the experience. Well done everyone for making it what it is.
Here's to the next three years! :glug:
Happy Birthday AOS and long it may continue

It's great to have been part of this for so much of it's life. It's the folks that make the place and it's a great bunch of folks. Individual people come & go, but the spirit of a great community stays.
God, it almost makes me want to use a smiley!

Thank you everyone!
Who was the first members apart from the cockz
that started it
Andre, just go to the first page of the Welcome area on 21/1/08, and you'll see all the "cockz" who started it welcoming each other, along with all the other daftees who were around then! ;)
Thanks for all the nice comments so far, chaps! AoS, however, will always be what you guys make it

A very well done to Marco & co from me ,:)
I log on to AOS every day. It's the most relaxed, most characterful hifi forum on the net.
A big thanks to Marco and to the mod team for their light touch and benign influence.
I've deleted the other forums from my favourites as they seem to encourage so many tossers and smart arses.

Yippee............................:)
My favourite forum.......... I know I might not contribute as much as some folk but I always have a wee smile and a warm glow reading the regular posters on this forum
All the best
Marty
Happy Birthday and thanks for a great forum:)
Happy Birthday AoS.
Congratulations to Marco and the Mod team for promoting and maintaining a friendly and tolerant forum atmosphere where contributor’s personalities and their love of music feature equally with their interest in the equipment :)
I'd just like to add my congratualtions in with the rest
:surf:
I notice a new record was set for 'Most Users Ever On line' this week, too.
Sorry - I'm a bit late in proffering my Birthday Wishes, however I have been having severe technical problems.
Yes, Happy Birthday AoS and congratulations to all those who go to make this the most relaxed, friendly, helpful, informative, interesting and amusing audio forum. (That's you, the members, if you haven't guessed.)
Cheers everyone!

Chaps
I only lurk here now a days but I have to say that the standard of discussion on this forum is nearly always pretty good.
Congratulations on setting the standard and also on staying the course.
Regards
Mick
