Hi Guys,

Just an intro... Ive been a member for a while, visiting the forums frequently to gather advice and learn how to satisfy my love of all things musical . The name is Ralph and I live in "sunny and bright" London;).

I play an acoustic guitar, and love all things eclectic like you all! :)

Nothing more really! Thanks all for making this forum what it is!

Hi Ralph - still not sure if it is Ralph!
Thanks for the introduction. So what exactly does your system consist of & what type of music do you listen to?

Cheers

EDIT: Sorry, yes, I saw your other post, I see your name is indeed Ralph! When you get a chance, go to your profile & stick it in there so it appears in the top right corner of your posts along with a rough location.

:) I get it. Touchy subject. :) Its a very popular american name especially in the northeast.

Chris, its very basic but sweet :-) Squeezebox Touch (modded) ---> KimberKable --> Bel Canto DAC3.5VB -->LFD Mk4 amp--> LFD hybrid ribbon cables --> Proac D28 (I used to have a nice pair of Harbeth P3ESR). I regret loosing them. Im on the hunt for a good value Super HL5 to replace the proacs and bath in some Diana Krall !!

I've met plenty of folks called Ralph but for all I knew your name could have been Romeo Alphoi, or Bob Smith. I was making an educated guess - user names aren't necessarily anything to do with real ones. Have you ever met anyone called Wazoo?

Marco you promised never to tell anyone about that - OK, I'll tell the full story Ralph: Marco is my ex-boyfriend and he used to dress up in a wetsuit, fill it with Swarfega & make me call him by other men's names while whipping him lightly with a knotted speaker cable.
