Hi Guys,
Just got back from the photographers with 30 new pictures all optimized for web viewing by Bonita my foto lady, I thought you may like to have a go at guessing the cables in this picture as these are all the ones I sell.

Free bottle of Blue Horizon Clean-It for the first person to name them all.

As an example one might be (but isn't) Nordost Vishnu.

I can see a Furutech and an Isotek, the white one is a Supra, the yellow is Black Rhodium, the thin walled black is Belden, I have no idea who the red fella is and the rest I presume appears in your own range.

By the way, officialdom could get very upset over the non-standard colour coding of the conductors

Bunch of wires :eyebrows:

Actually the top left black cable looks interesting as it might well have a braid & foil screen  The other black cable centre bottom looks interesting to as it has nice cross sectional area ;)

Me i don't enter competitions as i never win :D

Jeez..Identifying cables by their cross section....there's some real 'anoraks' on here...:lolsign:
How the hell did you do that. The closest I got was sleeve colour and 3 core with and without screen......
Is there a booby prize......:lolsign:

Just by visiting Davids website and looking at what he sells! To be honest, the colour of the outside is enough (well for me to get it wrong!)

Obviously the lure of gifts is enough for some (inc me) to trawl through looking for the answers!

And as for me......should have stuck to my first answer :lolsign:

Well I can confirm that I used my extraordinarily refined sense of smell to compile my answer.

Some of the black cables were pretty tricky to sort out from each other, I thought, but the clues were all there on the website.

I knew the answer to the last cable as soon as I saw that David had posted that it wasn't an Isotek, but I thought I'd keep quiet to give someone else a chance. So it was very generous of him to offer me a prize.
Thank you again.

Its actually a far better photo than I expected for showing internal cable construction as its something you don't often get to see properly.

You can see some of these manufacturers take cables very seriously!

1 metre of all of them together would retail for about £350!

Well, the postie got me out of bed this morning. With his persistent hammering on the door & ringing the bell, I thought it must be some sort of bomb scare/flood/pestilence combo.
But no, he was delivering a parcel from David.
Thanks to you one more time for your extraordinary generosity. I'll have a fiddle & report back on the results.

Many thanks to David for the prize of a bottle of Blue Horizon Clean-It that popped through my letterbox this morning. Will give it a try soon and report back.

In equal parts this thread has been a) marvellous and b) proof that we now have too much time on our hands and were designed to all snuff it by the age of 28 while hunting the woolly mammoth to feed our cave-dwelling kin.

Can we have more like this please ?!

I can start another one with a lot harder questions and a bigger prize? I am chuffed you thought it was marvellous as another forum where I was enjoying myself a lot has recently gone all anti-mains cables and almost chucked me out so I have set up home here for a while, I like it so much I may buy the company (or the forum):lolsign:
