Hi, would you be willing to split up the Talk gear and if so what model is the power amp and how much would you want for it? Cheers. :)

EDIT: To be more specific I know you said the power amp is a Tornado but a quick Google turned up multiple models like 6, 2.2B, and 3.1B.

Its all talk 3 gear.
Would only split as in cd or pre and power together.

Cheers

Hi Dan, I can understand that. How much would you want for the pre + power combo? Cheers.

Hiya there I know this post is rather old but anyway I will try to ask and maybe there is some chance. Are these Cardas Golden Cross still available or are already sold?

Thanks for info,
best, D.

Hi Dave,

Welcome to AoS.

Did you read your activation email properly, shown below, (note the bits in bold) before posting what you've just done?

Before posting in the main areas of the forum, please pop into the Welcome area and say 'hello', giving your proper first name, basic location, something about your system and something about your favourite music.

You will be assured of a warm welcome, it helps us get to know you, and it's part of what we think makes The Art of Sound a proper community.

Thank you!

If so, perhaps you suffer from selective blindness?

Marco.

P.S And no, new members can't send PMs until they've posted in the Welcome area FIRST, and made a minimum of five posts on the forum.

Hi Vincent,

Before you go any further, could you please pop into the Welcome area and introduce yourself to our community, as you were asked to do in the registration email you received - ta!

Lets be fair, they could be - I've still stuff that I advertised as long ago as 2010.

You don't get anything if you don't ask!

The responses to newcomers in this thread make the forum seem like a clique or commune..

Or somewhere that's more than a free sale and wants service

You mean if someone doesn't post then they're a free-loader of some kind? I was reading forums for years before I ever posted.

Probably the very first thing that encouraged me to type something of my own was to ask if an item was still for sale.

To think that everybody is happy to just throw the saloon doors open and start chatting to every stranger is unrealistic (maybe you're quite outgoing yourself?).

It's traffic generation too if a forum wants more traffic. Some of that traffic will then check out other threads and one day join in. Saves trying to get noticed in other ways.

Not all forum admin want high traffic though of course, just wanting a small community.

Just be assimilated into the AOS,start posting and stop fighting the power. NAT has been assimilated.

I tend to agree, but my laughing post was more to do with the post just above Vincent's first, which says in big letters to go to the welcome area. Just a little irony. No offence intended Vincent, welcome to the forum, it's usually a friendly place believe it or not!
