For Sale: Heco Celan 700 loudspeakers

I'm advertising these on behalf of Steve Toy...

Steve says:

"These have been my speakers since July 2008 and have been great for showing up all the changes I've made to my system during that time. They are fast, dynamic and transparent for the money. The midrange is explicit and the bass is articulate and well extended. They are well braced too and there is little in the way of audible cabinet resonance. Weighing in at 29kg each, this is to be expected.

They are an easy load for just about any amplifier including valves which is what I use. Sensitivity is rated at 92 dB and they are a 4 to 8 ohm load. They are in very good condition and the glossy silver finish has not lost its shine. There is a small mark at the rear of one of the speakers and this can just about be seen in the first pic below. They have spent their life to date in a child and smoke-free environment.

They come boxed with the instructions and spike kit.

I'm selling them to upgrade to something more expensive.

The RRP is £1600.

I can vouch for these speakers being in absolutely MINT condition, and having heard them on numerous occasions, for the price that Steve is asking, they are a total bargain!

Well, quite simply, you're just not going to get that much speaker for £550 anywhere else....! Also, I suspect that if someone slapped 500 notes on Steve's lap, he'd snatch it off them ;)

I can also vouch for the condition ... i have bought a amp from steve before and it was MINT

i have also leant him kit that has come back cleaner than i sent it ... and that is no exaggeration ...

im sure he wont mind me saying his attention to detail is almost borderline ocd and that is seemingly reflected in how well he keeps his kit ...

Well the MOT wasn't a disaster, but I'm holding off at the moment whilst we sort out the living room - not in any mad rush, and I would certainly want to audition anything first if possible, which is a bit tricky in a lot of cases, Steve's Heco's included. Good luck with the sale Steve.
