Arcam Amp question ???

Hello all,
can I have some expert advise please.

I currently have an Arcam A32 amp running some Quad 21L's. I would like to bi-amp so it's P35 power amp. Failing that a P25.

But......has anybody ever put a P85 in place of the 35 or 25 ?

there are a few going on feebay and I thought if it was connected up to the LF on the quads would I really tell the difference ? the A32 would be handling the finese side of things ?

Not being a tight-wad, it's just that P35's rarely come up for sale.

My understanding is it will work fine providing the input sensitivity of the p85 is the same as the A32's - otherwise you will have volume imbalance with bass louder than mid/top or vice versa no matter what volume position you select on the A32. Check out the specs for the A85 and A32. Hope this helps

I would stick to the 'A32'/'P35'..'P85' has a slightly different input spec
