"The singular talent and colourful life of blues, R&B, soul, gospel,folk, pop and jazz singer Nina Simone (1933 - 2003) is explored by her daughter Simone. This concluding part explores Nina Simone's reputation as a commanding but sometimes difficult performer. Plus career milestones such as the 1958 pop song My Baby Just Cares for Me (following its use in a Chanel No 5 ad on TV), her series of mesmerising performances at Ronnie Scott's jazz club in London's Soho, and the albums Baltimore (1978) and A Single Woman (1993), her last. A&R man Michael Alango discusses how he signed Simone and got the intense and volatile singer to record again."
