Hello, has anyone tried cleaning their stylus with the Vinyl Passion Dust Buster as sold by Missing Link?
Hi Johnny,
Got any more info on the Dust Buster, such as a link to a description of it? :)
Cheers.
Marco.

Save yourself some money.
For example - get 36 Sticky Hands like this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/36-Stretchy-Sticky-Hands-Kids-Birthday-Party-Favors-/120666315981?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c1845dccd#ht_1368wt_905) for 8 quid. It does exactly the same thing & you can give one each to 35 of your record playing friends.

I use it regularly on my Allaerts MC1B and Decca - no problems - does what it says and cheaper than other audiophile alternatives.

Trouble is I have a 9 year old daughter and DON'T want her anywhere near my beloved hi-fi, those sticky hands will be a like a red sheet to a bull!
I will order some anyway, anyone want one send me a pm.
:lol:$8.54 inc. shipping, hope I don't get stung for import duty...

Sticky Hands:
I've used them for years - probably 7 or 8 years & I think I'm only on my 4th or 5th one. Once you've opened the wrapper, keep it in a seal jiffy bag or airtight box to stop it losing it's tackiness.
There's enough there for you to give your daughter plenty to play with!
i used my wife's e-bay account to buy them, just got home and she wants to know what's going on!!!!
Got the sticky hands now, if anyone wants one for nowt send me a pm, they are rather good and thanks for the tip.

I'd forgotten that you said you were going to get some. Don't confuse them with jelly sweets, will you now!
I put them on a piece of card & then use the lift/lower device to drop the stylus into it. Once you've opened the packet, try to remember to keep it in some sort of sealed container. A ziplock bag or an old film cannister is good.
They stick like s..t to a blanket, got one stuck on the front door, looks cool!
